DB7 Zagato pictures
« on: April 04, 2009, 03:10:47 PM »
I thought i would add some pictures of a DB7 Zagato we have in for servicing, there are a few Aston Martin DB7 special editions with the Zagato instantly recognisable, with the large front grille and the redesigned rear end a shorter wheelbase, improved engine and lighter chassis, there was 100 made 99 sold and 1 retained by Aston Martin,

Based on the pictures this is either Car #7 or #44, Only 2 RHD Zagato's were made with Olive Green interiors....

Mmmm - That is indeed strange Rick, #53 definitely left the factory with a Charcoal interior...Maybe the owner has had it changed ?

On a completely different subject - Why has my screen reversed itself, and I can see Arabic text everywhere...?
It onlyhappens on your website, Have I inadvertently altered my settings ?

yep really strange as everything looks standard, but that would mean changing door cards, seats, carpets dash etc etc, so it's not that it has just been retrimmed, i will ask the owner see if he can shed any light,

Rob,

It's not a black art, just focussed interest, Alot of the information is in the public domain, some you have to hunt through books for, some is just experience and the other 90% is *Magic*...LoL

Seriously, I've been a VIN collector for longer than I can remember, and I have collected over 150,000 VIN's and associated records, (obviously not just Aston's), Ferrari & Jaguar form a part of that number too...It's a never ending search, refinement and updating job - I have hundreds of Mags dating back to the 70's which I still haven't completely searched for VIN's, Registration Numbers, Owners, Colours, articles etc....

Regards,

RC
